Planned Giving
Please consider remembering Elder Services in your will by creating a bequest – a Lasting Legacy expressing your compassion and caring for seniors. It just takes a simple designation in your will and will not affect your cash flow during your lifetime. Bequests of any size can be made to Elder Services by arranging with your lawyer to amend your will or create a codicil (amendment) to your will that contains a statement similar to the following:
“I, (name) give (dollar amount) or (percentage of residuary estate) to Elder Services of Berkshire County, Inc. for its general charitable purposes.”
You can also name Elder Services of Berkshire County as the beneficiary of your life insurance, retirement fund or 401K retirement fund.
