Elder Services Adds Three to Staff
Elder Services announced the addition of Elder at Risk Worker Tina Danzy, Bookkeeper Kriste Kleiner and Case Manager Amy Petithory to its staff.
Elder at Risk Worker Tina Danzy receives intake reports and conducts assessments of severely self-neglecting elders at risk due to mental health, substance abuse, and age-related issues. A Becket resident, she was previously employed as an Outreach/Tracking Case Worker for the Key Program in Pittsfield, and holds a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Westfield State College and an Associates degree in Criminal Justice from Berkshire Community College.
Case Manager Amy Petithory, a Pittsfield resident, assesses the needs of elders who need help at home, and then decides with them what services they need, which may include personal care, housekeeping, or Meals on Wheels. Appropriate provider agencies are contacted to secure the services necessary to help elders remain in their own homes. Petithory holds a Bachelors in Psychology from Keene State College and previously worked as a full-time relief counselor for Berkshire County ARC for eight years.
Bookkeeper Kriste Kleiner holds a Bachelors in Business Management from Regis College in Weston, MA, a Masters in General Business from Western New England College in Springfield, MA, and previously worked in Accounts Payable at Berkshire Physicians and Surgeons. Among other responsibilities, Kleiner maintains, processes and updates the accounts receivable register for all grants and funds. A Pittsfield resident, Kleiner also works part-time as a swim instructor at the Pittsfield YMCA.
