Elder Services Promotes Lillpopp, Adds Two New Staff
Elder Services is pleased to announce that longtime case manager, Marge Lillpopp has been promoted to Client Services Supervisor II. Two new case managers have also joined its staff: Jill S. Allen of Pittsfield, and Ericka Albright of North Adams. Case managers assess the needs of elders, collaborate with elders in developing suitable service plans, and interact with other aging network agencies to secure the services necessary to help elders remain in their own homes.
Marge Lillpopp, a 14 year Elder Services staff member, will have responsibility for the training of new case managers, and provide back up for the two Client Services Supervisors, Patricia Adelson and Diane Sheridan. She is a native of Hartlepool, England, and a 14 year Dalton resident who began her Elder Services career as a Meals on Wheels Case Aide, moved to the same position in Adult Family Care, and has served as Case Manager for the past 10 years. She is Vice-Chair of the Dalton Council on Aging, is married to Fred Lillpopp, and has three grown children.
Case manager Jill Allen holds a bachelor’s in Sociology from Quinipiac College in her home state, Connecticut. She moved to Berkshire County in 1982 and has previously held program director’s and case management positions at Berkshire County Association for Retarded Citizens (BARC) in Great Barrington, and Berkshire Center in Lee. Allen’s hobby is researching local history, with a particular interest in historical homes.
Ericka Albright joins Elder Services’ case management staff from a position as Homelife Coordinator with Berkshire Family and Individual Resources (BFAIR) in North Adams, where she has recently moved from Bennington, Vermont. Albright holds a bachelors in Sociology from Wells College in Aurora, New York and has graduate training in Gerontology. She is newly married to Dustin Albright of San Bernardino, California.
