Affairs warns against new "living trust" scams
To the Editor:
Your monthly publication was a very valuable resource when I was caring for my mother’s needs during the past few years. My mother passed on February 1st of this year. She was able to stay in her own home except for the last three months of her life. Elder Services was a great factor in her being able to do so.
I appreciated all that you offered for the elderly.

Thank you for all your support these last several months. I am so thankful for all the services that Elder Services has provided to help my mom stay in her home as long as possible.
Jeanette Roosevelt has been a very special person and if all your representative payees are like Jeanette, you are so fortunate - I’m sure they are all as dedicated and supportive. Jeanette and I had many chats making sure all bases are covered for my mom. I think the Representative Payee Program is excellent for those "elderberries" who need assistance with their bills, etc.
