New Staff

Shirley Samale has joined Elder Services as Nutrition Meal Site Coordinator, and will supervise Elder Services’ 14 Congregate Meal Sites located in Adams, Becket, Cheshire, Dalton, Great Barrington, Hinsdale, Lanesboro, Lee, Lenox, Pittsfield, North Adams, Stockbridge, and Williamstown. Samale has held customer service and management positions at Kripalu Center in Lenox. She is a Hospice Care In The Berkshires and American Cancer Society volunteer.

Nancy Stoll has been hired as an Elder Services SHINE (Serving the Health Information Needs of Elders) Coordinator, and will oversee the activities of the 30 Berkshire County volunteer SHINE Counselors. SHINE Counselors provide unbiased information to elders on health care payment options, including Medicare, Medigap Medicare Supplemental insurance policies, MassHealth, prescription drug coverage, insurance claims and appeals, a d other health payment related issues. Stoll, who has a bachelor’s in business administration and marketing, has held positions in marketing, advertising, public relations and fund raising. She is a volunteer for Hospice Care In The Berkshires, as well as for her children’s elementary school.
