Dear Friend:

There’s no place like home. . .especially as you get older. Home is full of wonderful memories. It’s safe and secure.

Many older Berkshire residents want to remain in their homes and are able to do so, but they still need help with everyday necessities that some may take for granted. This is where Elder Services of Berkshire County comes in by providing daily assistance with personal care, homemaker services, and Meals on Wheels.

It makes all the difference in the world to . . .

This is just one example among the more than 1,500 seniors who receive assistance each month to remain independent and at home ---thanks to Elder Services. This year, as you have no doubt heard through the media, Elder Services will be receiving less help from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. But our mission will go forward, and we will appreciate any amount of money that you can send. Your tax-deductible donation will be put to good use. We need help from our community more than ever. Together we can help those who need us most.

Please help Berkshire seniors live with dignity. Thank you in advance for your support of Elder Services.

Sincerely yours,

Karen P. Reilly
President, Board of Directors
