Berkshire Bank Foundation donates $2,500 to Meals on Wheels
Elder Services’ Meals on Wheels program, which delivers over 800 hot, nutritious meals to homebound elders each weekday, recently received a grant for $2,500 from Berkshire Bank Foundation, whose mission is to "strengthen our communities and improve the quality of life for those who live in them." Berkshire Bank Foundation supports community development activities and programs that will enhance educational opportunities for the children and adults of Berkshire County.
Through the generosity of the Berkshire Bank, Elder Services has, for the past four years, operated the historic Popcorn Wagon in Park Square, Pittsfield, with all proceeds going to Meals on Wheels.
