Elder Care Fund Needs Your Help
Elder Services maintains an Elder Care Fund for elders who find themselves in need of emergency one-time only funding for critical expenses up to $250 which they have no other means of paying. The Fund is at an all-time low of $2,000 and needs your help.
The Elder Care Fund is largely replenished through donations made to Elder Services in memory of loved ones. As a result of increased elder needs over the past few years, the fund has experienced a significant increase in one-time emergency expenditures, expending much more than is being donated, and is in need of donations from the community. If you would like to financially support this emergency funding source for elders, please send your donation of any amount to Elder Services’ Elder Care Fund, 66 Wendell Avenue, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
