Thanks to Elder Services Volunteers

From Robert P. Dean, Elder Services Executive Director

The week of April 27 through May 3 is National Volunteer Week. Webster’s Dictionary defines a volunteer as “one who offers to enter into any service of one’s own free will.”

Here at Elder Services, we truly believe that volunteers “Give the Greatest Gift.” This past year, more than 400 Elder Services volunteers contributed over 30,000 volunteer hours to a variety of programs and services that help Berkshire seniors to continue to live in their own homes with dignity and independence. Their actions let these seniors know that they are not forgotten and that they are not alone.

Please join Elder Services in recognizing the valuable contribution each volunteer makes to the Berkshire community.  Many thanks to our extraordinary volunteers. Your compassion and commitment are without equal. You are truly outstanding.
