On Wednesday, January 28, 2004, Governor Romney presented his budget for Fiscal Year 2005, which begins July 1, 2004. Elder line items were basically level funded. The numbers below are statewide numbers:
The Enhanced Community Options Program was level funded at $37.488 million.
Choices purchased services was combined with state home care purchased services for a total of $101.96 million. This combined amount is close to what State Home Care and Choices purchased services received separately in Fiscal Year 2004, so it is basically level funding.
Choices case management/administration was combined with State Home Care case management/administration for a total of $36.379 million. This combined amount is close to what Home Care and Choices case management/administration received separately in Fiscal Year 2004, so it is basically level funding.
Protective Services was level funded at $9.6 million.
Supportive Housing was level funded at $1.94 million.
Congregate Housing was level funded at $1.309 million.
Prescription Advantage was level funded at $96.372 million.
The Councils on Aging were level funded at $5.9 million.
