We are currently looking for:
Health Services Manager: Full time. Looking for an energetic, creative, detail-oriented R.N. to oversee Health Services programs, including the Medicaid nursing facility screening process, and to supervise a team of staff nurses. Supervisory experience, excellent interpersonal and time management skills required. Community nursing experience preferred.
Registered Nurse Case Manager: Energetic, focused, caring, well-organized R.N. to work with individuals across many aspects of the care continuum. Responsibilities include conducting in-home assessment of service needs for frail individuals, collaborating with area nursing facilities to plan the safe return of individuals to the community, and determining clinical eligibility for MassHealth-funded services. Excellent written, communication, and computer skills required. Geriatric and/or community-based nursing experience preferred. No evenings, weekends, holidays or on-call.
Client Services Coordinator/Residential Services Coordinator: Energetic individual to conduct home visits, assess client needs, develop service plans, and coordinate Housing, Home Care and Nutrition services for elders. BA/BS and human services experience required; LSW preferred. Position requires excellent written, communication, and computer skills. Must be able to work independently and as a team member.
Long Term Options Counselor (full time): Elder Services seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to assist seniors and individuals with disabilities in an interactive, decision-making process to identify community resources to meet their long term care needs. Must be able to work collaboratively with clients, families and community resources. Must have strong oral and written communication skills. Bachelor’s degree required. Relevant experience in senior and/or disability services preferred.

TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES:
Are you over the age of 55? If so, check out Elder Services’ Senior Community
Service Employment Program (SCSEP), this program assists seniors in job
training, matching and placement.
For those who are eligible, there are several part-time training positions
available among participating community agencies: Adult Day Health Programs,
Councils on Aging, Government Offices and Agencies, Cities and Towns, and Social
Service Agencies.
This job training program is available to all income eligible Massachusetts
residents 55 years of age or older, and pays $8.00/hour for up to 20 hours per

Host Homes Needed: Elder Services of Berkshire County is in need of
individuals or families willing to open their hearts and homes to care for an
elder or disabled adult. If you have a spare bedroom, please consider this
important opportunity. Of particular need is for a gentleman in the North Adams’
area. You will receive a tax-free stipend, up to $49.00 per day, along with
