We are currently looking for:         

A Strong Manager Needed!  

Director of Client Services: Elder Services seeks an experienced manager to lead. The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in human services or related field, with experience in administration, staff supervision, program planning and development across multiple departments. A wide breadth of knowledge of social work and clinical experience in the delivery of in-home services is preferred.  Master’s Degree in Social Work a plus.

Client Services Supervisor:  Join the Elder Services team in our mission to support elder independence!  Elder Services seeks a strong leader to implement home care programs and supervise professional case management staff.  Must have strong critical thinking and decision making skills, be highly organized and be an effective communicator.  Supervisory experience and Master’s Degree required in Human Services or related field.  MSW preferred.

Registered Nurse Case Manager: Energetic, focused, caring, well-organized R.N. to work with individuals across many aspects of the care continuum. Responsibilities include completing in-home assessment of service needs for frail individuals, providing health education, collaborating with area nursing facilities to plan the safe return of individuals to the community, providing ongoing health monitoring for a variety of individuals and determining clinical eligibility for MassHealth-funded services. Excellent written, communication, and computer skills required. Geriatric and/or community-based nursing experience preferred. No evenings, weekends, holidays or on-call.  Flexible part time hours available.

Client Services Administrative Professional:  Do you want to work in a fast-paced, challenging and dynamic environment?  Elder Services is seeking a skilled, self-directed administrative professional to provide support to our Client Services team.  Excellent organizational, communication and problem solving skills are required along with thorough attention to detail and  proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Related experience required.

Client Services Coordinator/Residential Service Coordinator: If you are looking for an opportunity to thrive and to make a difference, join Elder Services of Berkshire County as a Social Work Case Manager.  Experienced social workers with a minimum of 2 years experience and a Bachelor’s Degree will enjoy an exciting, rewarding and supportive environment.  Duties include:  home visits, client assessments, service plan development, home care, nutrition and housing coordination.  Put your critical-thinking skills, empathy, and common sense to work in an environment that encourages and supports outstanding service and performance.  As a large employer we are pleased to offer new opportunities to grow and develop professionally and personally.  And, for Social Workers who are not yet licensed, we offer an exceptional path to obtain your social work license.  Elder Services provides you a full-time position, mentoring by a supportive supervisor, on-the-job training sessions, and payment for you to obtain your license!

Clinician: Elder Services seeks a dynamic, highly organized, and experienced clinician.  Responsibilities will include clinical supervision of staff members,  conducting clinical record reviews, facilitating interdisciplinary team meetings,  case consultation, and  training as required.  Must have excellent clinical and communication skills.  Masters degree from an accredited school of social work, counseling or human development plus at least two years experience in counseling or casework required.

SENIOR EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES:  Are you over the age of 55?  If so, check out Elder Services’ Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), this program assists seniors in job training, matching and placement.

For those who are eligible, there are several part-time training positions available among participating community agencies: Adult Day Health Programs, Councils on Aging, Government Offices and Agencies, Cities and Towns, and Social Service Agencies.

This job training program is available to all income eligible Massachusetts residents 55 years of age or older, and pays $8.00/hour for up to 20 hours per week.  For more information contact  (413) 499-0524 or (800)-544-5242.

 

Host Homes Needed: Elder Services of Berkshire County is in need of individuals or families willing to open their hearts and homes to care for an elder or disabled adult.  If you have a spare bedroom, please consider this important opportunity. Of particular need is for a gentleman in the North Adams’ area.
